Dakota Ditcheva Has ‘Big Plans’ with PFL, Aims to Lead Women’s Flyweight Division

Dakota Ditcheva is one of the best European talents signed by the Professional Fighters League recently. Ditcheva (5-0, 0-0 PFL) is a former British muay Thai champion who transitioned to mixed martial arts in April 2021. In little more than one year, she scored four stoppages and a decision victory. Now, “Dangerous” is set to make her promotional debut against Hassna Gaber on the upcoming 2022 PFL 9 card. Ditcheva is the rolling stone that will kick off the new women’s flyweight division in which the promotion is currently investing. PFL believes so much in Ditcheva’s potential that they have already offered the 24-year-old fighter a multi-year contract.

“My plans with PFL are actually a little bit more long-term," she said. “I have signed with them for two years now. I’ll work with them for a while, we’ve got some really big plans. They are gonna build a flyweight division now, which is amazing. I'm the first girl that they've signed for that flyweight division. They're gonna work hard now to get a full division together and then big plans to maybe run the tournament or hopefully that's the direction that it heads for us."
